- Enhanced idea records. Clicking on an idea allows you to see more details about that idea, including its description, status, product owner (if applicable), and comments from the community and Salesforce.
- Simplified idea submission. Submitting an idea has never been easier. While crafting your idea, Similar Ideas will appear so that you don’t accidentally post a duplicate idea.

Posting & VotingExpand All
Salesforce product managers update the status of an idea to communicate with you about where the idea stands. An idea will be assigned one of the following primary statuses: “Open”, "In Development", “Delivered” or “Archived” and a secondary status, listed below.

This status means an idea is active.
- Submitted: This is the default status for all ideas.
- Not Planned: This idea is viable, but is not being considered for the roadmap within the year.
- Up for Prioritization: This idea has been selected for Prioritization in the current, or most recent cycle. This status is used when Prioritization opens.
- On Roadmap: This idea has been added to the product roadmap, with delivery expected within 3 releases.

If you’d like to reduce the number of IdeaExchange notifications you receive, you can:
- Mute a Chatter Post. You can mute notifications by clicking the timestamp and going to the post detail page. Then, click the dropdown menu (signified by the downward arrow) on the far right of the post, then select Mute. This action will not unfollow an idea.
- Unfollow an idea. After engaging with an idea, you will auto-follow that idea. To stop notifications for that idea, you can unfollow the idea on the idea record.
You can also control your general IdeaExchange email notification preferences by going to the Settings tab of your Trailblazer.me profile. When the toggle is disabled, you will not receive any IdeaExchange notifications, including status changes and new Salesforce comments. However, we don't want you to miss out when someone is calling your attention to something, so we'll still alert you if someone @ mentions you on an idea you've previously unfollowed. All email notifications will be sent from noreply-ideaexchange@salesforce.com.
PrioritizationExpand All
Prioritization integrates the community’s ideas into the Salesforce product planning process. Product managers review the most-upvoted ideas on the IdeaExchange, then add the top viable ideas to their prioritization list. There’s at least one list for every product, though some related products may share lists.
We need your help to determine which ideas on the prioritization list matter the most. You tell us what you’d like to see developed by allocating virtual coins to your favorite ideas.
Salesforce product managers review the ideas with the most coins. The winning ideas are scheduled for development starting in the next release.
Since Salesforce products are updated three times a year, ideas are prioritized that often too. This allows you to have a voice in the release planning process. Prioritization occasionally begins on other dates as well. Check out Prioritization for updates on when the next prioritization cycle starts.
If a feature can be created based on an idea and the development of that feature can begin within the next release, it qualifies for the product’s prioritization list. Ideas are grouped into lists by the cloud that their features belong to.
However, top ideas may not be chosen for the prioritization list for other reasons, and selections are entirely at the sole discretion of Salesforce.
When a prioritization cycle begins you have 100 virtual coins to allocate to each list. You allocate those coins to the ideas that matter the most to you. Allocate all of your coins to one idea or spread your coins around– it’s up to you. You must use all 100 coins in order to submit your choices.
Coins are refreshed after each cycle and don’t rollover from one cycle to the next.
To start allocating your coins, click Start Prioritizing. When you’re happy with your allocations and ready to submit, click Submit. You can only submit once per list and you can’t change your choices after submission, so choose wisely!
RoadmapExchangeExpand All
RoadmapExchange is a place where customers and Product Managers meet and discuss new Salesforce products and features.
To find relevant roadmaps, either enter a cloud or product name in the category search bar or select a cloud from the dropdown menu to show the available product roadmaps within that cloud.
Some clouds don't have a published Roadmap yet or aren't quite ready to actively solicit feedback. Stay tuned for more additions to the RoadmapExchange.
Salesforce PMs update RoadmapExchange feature statuses to reflect where those features are in the development process. Below is a breakdown of each stage, ordered by their place in the development process:
- Seeking Feedback - Features that have not yet been targeted by Salesforce. Features listed here are opportunities to get in on the earliest stages of ideation, but are not guaranteed to be developed.
- Planned - Targeted for eventual development by Salesforce, but development is still in an early stage, and the feature may not yet have an intended release date. Teams may still re-prioritize away from planned features, but are less likely to do so than for features in Seeking Feedback
- In Progress - Actively being worked on by a team. Features here are likely to have a targeted release, even if teams may not be able to share one publicly yet. In Progress features may have opportunities for pilot or beta program opt-ins for early access.
- Delivered - Delivered features have been released to customers. Not all customers may have access just yet, as some features here could be betas or pilots.
RoadmapExchange features represent future functionality and are subject to Salesforce’s Safe Harbor agreements. You can’t share roadmaps with anyone who isn’t a member of our online community. Log in to your Trailblazer Identity to view roadmaps.
