    <content type="text">It's true that you can customize tabs for any app, but these app definitions are controlled by the administrator, not by the user. The difference is an admin can override your customizations at any time. (Careless admins do it frequently.) I have experienced this many times myself. Having a personalized "My Favorites" allows each user to define a tab set where they have complete control.</content>
