    <content type="text">We have many custom fields on Assets and our users continally ask us to track history when these values change.  All Standard objects should allow history tracking.</content>

    <content type="text">We especially want to track History of the Quantity field so we have a record of if/when it goes up or down as assets are purchased or consumed.</content>

    <content type="text">Assets often get switched from one contact and even one account to another, we need to know the previous history of who else had that asset.</content>

    <content type="text">We have a field to link the asset to a site. From time to time we have to move an asset to a new site so we need a way to track the location history of the asset.</content>

    <content type="text">We're now using Assets to target our existing customer base to grow product upgrade pipeline.  Enabling field tracking on assets will help us log customer contact responses to product trade in campaign, in turn make good decisions around marketing our products.</content>
