Salesforce IdeaExchange
Ideas Tab in SF Mobile
Please add the Salesforce IDEAS functionality to SF Mobile.
Attachments and Mail Merge Templates in Offline Edition
It would be beneficial for some of my customers to have these features.
Any others agree?
salesforce.com Product Mgt: is there an ETA to get this functionality?

Make Asset available on AppEx Mobile
Our sales people heavily uses the Asset object to get an understanding of the customers’ situation and are required to update information about competitors’ equipment. Therefore it would be very beneficial if that object was available in the mobile application as well as in the Offline Edition.
Asset is basically the only SFA standard object not available. Of cause we could create a custom object, but that sort of defies the idea with the asset object.

Set CRUD and Tabs for Mobile
Some internal business processes require different access permissions from Mobile than from the online Salesforce application. We are working on allowing our Mobile Administrators to override the CRUD permissions for objects that are mobilized and to selectively suppressing Tab visibility on Salesforce Mobile.

Advanced Security Options for Salesforce Mobile
Customers are asking for strong support for new and popular security options in Salesforce Mobile, like Single Sign On, Two Factor Authentication and a secure Device Pairing with an OAuth-like infrastructure.

Mobile Device Security and Control
Introduce an Org Settings page for Mobile to do 2 things:
1) Restrict the device types that can connect to Salesforce.
2) 'Lock' users to the device that is registered until the Admin deletes the device.
The two parts of this feature would allow fine grained control over who can use what device with Salesforce Mobile and still not be an overwhelming Administration burden.

Enable Mobile user fields for reporting
Need the ability to write a report to show Mobile user data - like last registration date, mobile configuration, device address, Device OS, etc. I can create the details in a View in Mobile Users & Devices under Setup, but can only get it into Excel by copy/pasting it from the view.

Alerts to Mobile Users
We are working on an infrastructure to allow alerts to be presented to the Mobile User. Mobile Admins could subscribe to Salesforce Alerts about new product versions and Mobile Admins could leverage the message alert component to send internal alerts, like, New special price on a product, New mobile device available from IT, Training available for Salesforce Mobile etc.

Logging Emails with Attachments via Mobile
There is many times in which I get email attachments from major customers. Because I am on the road, I am not able to get to a laptop as quick. When I want to log the email, I also want the attachment (i.e. Excel, pdf, etc) to be sent to salesforce so that I have all that information available to me in one place. Currently when I log an email with an attachment, Salesforce only captures the text in the email. Because of this, I must go back through emails (when I can) to get the file. By allowing the attachment to be imported with my logged email I’ll be able to see both the email and file at the same time. This will save a lot of time from searching.

Basic Admin Functions on SFDC Mobile
Provide basic admin functions via a SFDC mobile device such as reseting passwords, deactivating user accounts etc. I always have my BlackBerry with me but aren't always near a PC. If I'm out of the office and get a request to deactivate a user or reset a password it would be great to be able to react right away.

Salesforce Mobile - Ability to remove the Reports tab
We'd like the administrative ability to remove/hide the reports tab from our sfdc mobile users to prevent users from downloading too much data.
