We have clients who will be very happy if we can add feature to show EVENT custom fields in the calendar layout. They need to add event item lists or ad hoc items or remarks (long text area) in the calendar layout for easy and faster printing.
Currently, we can only show the standard fields SUBJECT, LOCATION and NAME.
Workaround is creating a custom object and showing it in a custom report or merge template following the calendar layout but it would take time to customize. Moreover, the templates need to be changed every year sine arrangement of the days in the calendar changes per month. The standard field LOCATION can be renamed to REMARKS but the number of character is limited to 80.
It would really be great to have this implemented in the SPRING '09.

Please add a feature to add not just EVENTS but also TASKS in the calendar layout. It would be great if we use add "New Task" through the workflow to auto create tasks in the calendar (i.e. once a new record item is created). This will be very useful to easily print out the calendar items easily following the calendar layout.
