Automate tasks in relation to Campaign members
Give Users (Roles) the ability to assign Tasks "en mass" as follow-up activities to a campaign. These Open Activities would be logged against the Contacts (Members) of a campaign. For example, when a User creates a direct mail campaign consisting of 200 Contacts, he/she can then assign a follow-up call for the Sales Rep who owns those contacts. These follow-up tasks would be listed as Open Activities on all Contacts who are members of the campaign. In short, this allows you to post multiple tasks at once while associating them with specific campaign members.
Calender Entry created from Object Date/Time Field
It would be great if a workflow was possible that created a new event on a calendar from data in a time/date field on a particular object.

Object Views Limited to 10
Currently filters for views are currently limited to 10, and it would be helpful to my organization to have 20.

Search Layouts only limited to 10 columns
Currently there is a limitation of only 10 columns for an object's search layout. And this is a global setting for all. We need to be able to select any number of columns for the search layout and allow users to customize their own settings. If that is not possible at least allow different column selection based on profile/role.
Allow to sort record type
I'd like to sort record types so that there is some logic when a user creates a new record and has to choose different record types.
Control Tab Visibility on One Page After Creation
Today, when you create a new tab, in step 2 of the process, you can assign visibility of that tab to all Profiles. That's great for when you're setting up a new tab. However, once you've created it, you then have to go into every profile to see what their visibility to that tab is and set it on a profile by profile basis. This is true for all tabs, both Standard and Custom. And when you get to the point of having more than a few profiles, it becomes a very laborious process to audit tab visibility.
It would be a huge help to allow Admins to see and control the visibility of any tab across all Profiles on one page.
Lookup Search Fields For Custom Objects
It would be very helpful if fields marked as external IDs in custom objects will be searchable through the lookup dialog. We have a custom object that represents a person, and it has "first Name" and "Last Name' fields that are external IDs, and its "Name" field is an auto-increment number. As a result, in lookup dialogs we can search the person only according to the ordinary number, but this does not make much sense..

Edit multiple views at once
Currently views must be edited one at a time. It would save time while editing multiple views if edits could be applied to more than one view. For example if you want to add Business Phone to three views it would save time if you could apply the change to multiple views at once. The attached screenshot shows how this might be implemented.

Add multiple attachments at once
When attaching files to an email they must be selected one at a time. The process is cumbersome if there are multiple emails to attach to one email. It would be helpful if somehow multiple files could be attached to an email at one time.
Exact Search Only - Security Restriction
One of our executives requested the ability to limit a specific group of users on the searching capability. He would like these users to only be able to use the standard SF feature to return results that EXACTLY match the string that they have entered. That way, he could be confident that these users would not return a large number of records via a search.
Personally, I'm not sure about this suggestion but I thought I'd present it to the community and see what others have to say.

Dynamic Column Generation
I would like to include possibility of being able to display a pageBlockTable with dynamic Columns in APEX and VisualForce page.
I kind of miss this, as I was thinking of implementing Custom Views that are accesible to Users, so that they can create and Edit any Views BUT on a Custom VisualForce Page, so now, View can include any nUmber of columns, but I could not implement this feature in present release.

Enable creation of new categories for new Report Types
New Report Types are more often than not based on new custom objects.
So limiting the storage of such reports within existing object categories or the all-purpose 'Other Reports' category isn't adequate.
So please enable users to create new categories for new Report Types.
You know it makes sense.
