SF Mobile - Team Data for Tasks and Events
Currently, users cannot download team data on SF Mobile for Tasks and Events. For example: If was was a Sales Manager or above and wanted to see data on all onsite visits taking place (Logged Calls) in SF Mobile, I cannot do it. Currently I can only see my own or those that relate to me directly.
I believe you could do this in early 2008, but it recently dissappeared. We couldn't use tasks and events much on mobile previously because the start and end appointment times weren't working correctly. Now those are fixed, but we can't create any views for the data logged in the system.
In the help guide on the Salesforce Mobile console it says you cannot synch "All Records" for Events. We would like to synch the user's team records but it is not an available option for events.
Optionally, use filters to restrict the records that a parent or child data set includes:
Use the Filter by Record Ownership options to configure Salesforce to automatically synchronize records based on the owner of the record. The possible options are:
All Records: Salesforce automatically synchronizes all records the user can access. The All Records option is not available for tasks and events when they are parent data sets in a mobile configuration. This helps prevent failed data synchronization due to activity filter queries that take too long to run.
User's Records: Salesforce automatically synchronizes all records the user owns.
User's Team's Records: Salesforce automatically synchronizes all records owned by the user and the user's subordinates in the role hierarchy.
User's Account Team's Records: Salesforce automatically synchronizes accounts for which the user is an account team member, but does not include accounts owned by the user.
User's Sales Team's Records: Salesforce automatically synchronizes opportunities for which the user is a sales team member, but does not include opportunities owned by the user.
None (Search Only): Salesforce does not automatically synchronize any records for this data set; however, users can use their mobile devices to search all of the records they can access.
Creation of any object via workflow rule.
I had many requests in crating new objects such as opportunity after period of 1 year, however there is no such option in the workflow rules it would be nice to have. It would be more robust than writing apex code.

Country picklist
SalesForce should have an out-of-the-box standardized country picklist with a listing of all countries.

API for SforceDB.exe
I wish salesforce.com had API that allows SforceDB.exe to call a program inside the local PC and the program to call SforceDB.exe when it's offline use.
e.g.
Calculation Engine <--> Data <--> SforceDB.exe
(inside the local PC)
Preview email body on 'Email List View'
I would like to preview part of the emails body on the 'Email List View'. (current screenshot attached).
Force.com Checkout makes it harder to view license total
If you're like me, in the past you frequently checked the subscription summary page to remind yourself how many licenses you currently have available to your organization. Now that the subscription summary page has been replaced with the Force.com Checkout app, getting this information becomes a pain. It would be nice if, on the same page with the link to the Checkout application (where the subscription summary used to be), a quick summary of license usage was displayed.
ie:
Total User Licenses: 200
Used User Licenses: 193
Available User Licenses: 7
Total Mobile Licenses: 50
Used Mobile Licenses: 49
Available Mobile Licenses: 1

Select Opportunity Owner at the point of creation
We need to be able to select the Opportunity Owner (i.e a person different from the person creating the Opportunity) at the point the Opportunity is created.
Currently you have to save the Opportunity then reopen it to change the Owner this is at least three extra clicks.
This would be the same functionality as we currently have with Tasks when we chose to assign them to somone else.

"Related To" field on Tasks needs to Auto-Populate
When entering a task in Opportunities by going to the Contact through Opportunities, the "Related To" field for the Contact does populate, but the "Related To" Opportunity name does not auto-populate. I would like to have the ability to enable this feature, so I don't have to search for it each time. Thanks.

Restrict Which Address You Can Send an Email From
We have multiple email addresses set up with Email to Case. Unfortunately, there is no way to restrict which email address different users can send emails from. Therefore, we have mail addresses A and B on Email to Case. Matt is on team A and Jim is on team B. Matt and Jim can both send emails on behalf of both addresses. Currently, there is no way to restrict this.

REGEX Formula Syntax is Based on Java, Does Not Search Entire Field
We are using Email to Case and trying to use the REGEX formula to search for keywords in the body of the email and update a field using workflow rules. The issue is that since the REGEX formula uses Java, if there is a line break original message the formula will not work. Therefore, the workflow rule will only work if the code is in the first line and not preceded by or followed by a line break. We would like the formula to work so that it picks up the keywords from anywhere in the body of the email.

Save As and Sharing of List Views by Non-Admin Users
It would be great if standard, non-admin users could clone views set up by admininstrators and then make modifications to meet their own needs. Right now, its either take the generic view published by the admin or start from scratch. Many users find this frustrating since they may just want to make one or two small modifications to the public view.
Also, non-admin users should be able to create views and share with other groups/roles. Example: a Financial Advisor creates a view of their "A" clients and wants to share with a client associate. Right now this can only be done by administrators, which causes burden on the administrators of large organizations.
32KB Limit on Email Body
When using email to case, our emails often go over the 32kb limit allowed to send emails. This usually happens if the email chain goes back and forth a few times. The other reason is because we have to add our Compliance tag to our Email Signature in Salesforce and these are placed on the bottom of each email. When we reach the limit, we have to delete parts of the email out. It would be helpful to not have this limitation on the email and be able to send larger emails without deleting parts of them.
