Default Sales/Account Team in Approval Process for Initial Submitter
My sales teams consist of a Field person, an Inside person, and a SE. They can all update Opportunities and Accounts owned by the other people on the team, but they cannot submit the same Opportunities or Accounts into the Approval process. Please add an Initial Submitter = Default Account and/or Sales Team option.
Add "select all" to the Execute Anonymous window in the Force.com IDE
Currently there is no way to do a "select all" in the Execute Anonymous window. Right-clicking and ctrl-A both do nothing. This is definitely needed for both the "Source to execute" and "Results" controls.
Also, please make the splitter between the "Source to execute" control and the "Results" control visible so it's easier to resize.
Last but not least, please fix the log level filtering in the "System Log" window in the main Salesforce app as that setting appears to be completely broken in all browsers.
Add the ability to specify a logging level when creating a debug log monitor.
When monitoring debug logs via Setup->Monitoring->Debug Logs, please give us the ability to specify the logging level. Currently it logs at the highest level and quite frequently the maximum log size is exceeded due to the amount of information logged by default. Giving us the ability to control that would make debug log monitoring much more effective.
Add a join() method to the String class.
Please add a join() method to the String class, similar to the Java StringUtil.join() method. The method is basically the opposite of String.split(). It joins an array of strings into a single string with a specified delimiter.
Currently, doing this in code takes several script statements.
Import Wizard for Leads
Right now, I can only use "Match Name", "Salesforce ID" or "Email". It would be nice to use unique record identifier that we have setup in SalesForce which match with our own Database when we import leads using the import wizard.
Multi-signatures
It would be good to be able to add multiple signatures under My Email Settings
Expand "My Tasks" on Home Page
I use TASKS extensively in Salesforce. I need to see ALL of the TASKS that I have setup to view (Overdue, Today, Today + Overdue, Next 7 Days + Overdue, etc.) on the HOME PAGE without having to select "View More". It significantly reduces my productivity by not being able to see all the tasks I want to view on the HOME PAGE. Please either make the number of tasks shown on the home page parameter driven or expand the HOME PAGE to show all tasks for the view requested.
Time Zone Problem, when 'phoning the world'...

I have been using Salesforce now for a few months and I like the software very much I have to say. Salesforce is a good tool.
One function that would help me manage my outbound phone calls better is the following: It would be nice to see the local time of my prospect on my SF screen. It would also be nice to automatically logg the upcoming events (Calls) according to the prospect's local time zone. The way this could be managed is by ZIP Code/ Country of the account or probably better by the prospect's phone number if it is logged properly with teh country code (+41.../ +82...).
I know this may not be too much of an issue for folks, who conduct sales in the US only, but when one 'calls the world', it is hard to understand all time zones of the world and this would make things easier on the 'phone front'.

Automate the integration of 2 SFDC Instances
I work for a company that have regular M&A activities and have found that the majority of our recent acquisitions are also SFDC customers. In integrating the acquired companies SFDC instance with our own we tend to make the rules up as we go (often depending on the size of the instance to be integrated).
I'd like to see some automation of this process, perhaps starting with some standard templates for data migration but ideally with some functionality/tools to allow easy integration of core data, processes, workflows etc.
I could see this being a source of competitive advantage to SFDC as well as, if our recent experience is anything to go by, ease of integration could become a selling point to CIO's of small to medium companies who see themselves as potential acquisition targets in the future.
Sort on "Record Count"
It would be nice to be able to sort the "summary results" by the record-count. For example, in the graph shown, the report (pie-chart) is sorted by "Channel" (alphabetically). I want the report (pie-chart) to be sorted largest record-count to the smallest. (So in the example, it would be "GMC", "Strategic", "MM Northeast", and so-on.) This would provide a better-looking pie-chart and make more sense to the user as the channels with the most activity would be listed first on the legend.
Assignment Rules Depend if Assignee is Currently Logged In
We only want to assign leads and cases to those who are logged in as we have multiple shifts and sometimes people are OOO.
We would like to have the ability to assign leads and cases only to users that are currently logged in. If the Assignee is not logged in, the assignment moves to the next rule entry.
