get connected to Salesforce accounts using Nokia devices
all the options to get connected to Salesforce using mobile devices, don't work with Nokia devices (operating system: symbian 9.1)
Dashboards available in Salesforce Mobile
Customers have asked for access to Dashboards from Salesforce Mobile. Our current thinking is to provide access to dashboards when connected to the mobile network or a WiFi network. Its important for the user to get the most up-to-date information.
Custom Objects in Offline Client
In the current version of the SFDC Offline Edition, only custom objects associated to a standard object via Master-Detail relationships are available. Please make all custom objects (or at least visible tabs) available to the Offline Edition. We have many custom objects that users would like to edit while on the plane but cannot do that now.
Salesforce Mobile Support for Apple iPhone
Please develop Salesforce Mobile support for the Apple iPhone using the integration features that Apple just announced at WWDC
http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2007/06/11iphone.html< Initiating calls
- Sending emails
- Display location on Google Map
- Create Calendar entries
"Send SMS" button (text message)
There should be a button next to "Send Email" marked "Send SMS" that can be used to send an SMS text message to a Contact using their Mobile phone number. Currently the only way to send text messages to people is using a mobile phone, and then re-typing the message into Salesforce to document it. It would be much more efficient to send SMS messages from Salesforce itself, as the message only needs to be typed once, and it's easier and faster to type a message on a computer keyboard than on a phone keypad.
Alerts to Mobile Users
We are working on an infrastructure to allow alerts to be presented to the Mobile User. Mobile Admins could subscribe to Salesforce Alerts about new product versions and Mobile Admins could leverage the message alert component to send internal alerts, like, New special price on a product, New mobile device available from IT, Training available for Salesforce Mobile etc.
Approval on Mobile
Would be great to enable the Approval module withing Workflows within the Appex Mobile environment. It would help our VP's on the road to approve various items in their queue without having to wait until they get into the office.
Support for Google Maps in Apex Mobile
Google Map mash-ups should be supported in Appex Mobile, either launched via a custom link, formula field or available in a web tab. Remote users need to be able to view SFDC Account locations on a map on their mobile device when they're out in the field
Set CRUD and Tabs for Mobile
Some internal business processes require different access permissions from Mobile than from the online Salesforce application. We are working on allowing our Mobile Administrators to override the CRUD permissions for objects that are mobilized and to selectively suppressing Tab visibility on Salesforce Mobile.
Recent Items sidebar should support customizable field
If you are using Salesforce.com Contracts standard object, you see the Contract Number (such as 00000101) in the left hand sidebar's Recent Items. However, this number is useless as a mnemonic or aide memoire. Since I can customize related lists of Contracts to remove Contract Number and show Contract Name, I should be allowed to customize the Recent Items sidebar to show Contract Name, not Contract Number.

Mobile - support related list instead of related objects
When you use Force.com Mobile on WM5 or WM6, the related items are not the same as the related lists in the online version.
E.g. We have contacts which relate to accounts as employees --> standard Account - Contact link. But also Contacts that relate to accounts via another object (e.g. a contact that refers to another account that he is working in).
When on the PDA you select an account, and go to related items 'contact' you see both, the regular contacts (employees) but also the contacts that refer to this account (via other objects). In this list there is no possibility to distinguish.
So my request is to have not related objects on the PDA WM5 of WM6, but related list like it is in the online version.
