Create a dropdown that makes it easy to jump to any step in the Report Wizard.
Convert Lead page customization
When converting a lead, it would be nice if we had the ability to customize the lead conversion page.
Our business process dictates that the Opportunity is not created until after the conversion process and it would be great if we could default the "do not create a new opportunity upon conversion" to checked or remove it altogether from the process.
Additionally if we can enforce the attach to existing policy as opposed to create new OR attach, it would greatly increase data quality.
Link an Email template to a campaign
I'd like to be able to link an email template to a campaign for tracking purposes.
For example, if I have an email template associated with a campaign, then whenever that email template gets used, the person that the email was sent to gets added to the campaign as well as the open/responded status gets updated.
Receive PDF faxes to Documents folder
My company receives our signed contracts via fax (EFax)which is linked directly to an email address and delivers a PDF formated fax right to my inbox. We then download the contract and upload it to the appropriate record in our Database. I think it would be great if the fax could get delivered directly to a temp folder right in our App where we then attach it to the appropriate record. Cheers
Track Emails from within Campaigns
Sending an email or mass emailing from within a Campaign should track the number sent, the number bounced and the number of emails responded to.
Web-to-Custom Object
As everyone knows the lead and case modules are effectively 'demilitarised' as they support Web-to-Lead and Case-to-Lead functionality respectively.
However, it's not just cases and leads that need this functionality.
The simple ability to define whether a custom object is 'Web-to-Custom Object' enabled would be brilliant.
You know it makes sense.
Assignment Rules Depend if Assignee is Currently Logged In
We only want to assign leads and cases to those who are logged in as we have multiple shifts and sometimes people are OOO.
We would like to have the ability to assign leads and cases only to users that are currently logged in. If the Assignee is not logged in, the assignment moves to the next rule entry.
Member First Responded Date should not be reset to blank
Member first Responded Date is supposed to have the date that the member was first given a "responded" member status. This works, but if you change the member status to anything (another responded value, a non responded value, or even the same value), it clears out the date. This makes the "Member First Responded Date" useless.
Follow these steps.
1. Add a contact to a campaign w/ a member status of Responded.
2. See that "Member First Responded Date" is Today's date.
3. Edit the member status of that contact, and press save.
4. See that the "Member First Responded Date" is now blank.
Mass E-mail Campaign Members
I would like to be able to mass e-mail all campaign members that have e-mail addresses from the campaign. Can't do this now.
Ability to customize the "from" for e-mails sent by a workflow
We heavily use time based workflows to automatically send e-mails out to leads and contacts. Currently, the "from" of the e-mails that are sent is the admin (or workflow creator, not very clear), the idea would be to have the ability to customize this, just like it is possible to insert merge fields in the e-mail template.
In our case, we would like the "from" friendly name and email address to be the lead or contact's owner.
Salespeople need to see campaigns in lead tab
My salespeople come in and look at salesforce in their leads tab, either as "my leads" or "my open leads." They need to know more than the lead source (for us this is categories like trade show, website, white paper) they need to know that it was a specific white paper or trade show. I know it seems like they should be able to open the lead record and look down at the campaign window but since they have a lot of open leads, they are probably going to prioritize based on the campaigns where they feel the leads are most qualified (like someone who went to the trouble to download a white paper).
Mass 'stay-in-touch' for LEADS
In SalesForce it is possible to update your contacts, but the urgency of updating your contacts is usually low, because the are already your customer, partner, supplier or anything else. So you'll know the essential facts about them. This is different when someone who only fills in his name and e-mail on our website is requesting for our published book. This person is a lead. But it isn't possible to update this lead. Because any well-managed company wants to know a lot about their prospects.
What I hope, and maybe more SF-users, is that SalesForce will improve their service with the functionality of Mass stay-in-touch for leads. So please support me
