Campaign Inclusion Reports
I want to grab all contacts who are in Campaign A with a certain status, but not in Campaign B and not in Campaign C.
I can't do this right now in standard reporting. Please add this functionality to allow for more sophisticated outreach and messaging.

Help Text for Standard Fields
The Help Text feature for custom fields is incredibly helpful for the overall usability of Salesforce. CRM has a lot going on, and the ability to present information about the use of a field directly in the interface is great.
But, some of the most critical fields are standard fields, and we can't create Help Text for those fields. Opportunity fields like Stage are complex and need explaining to insure uniform use. Please give us Help Text for standard fields!

Use VisualForce email templates in Mass Emails and in Apex Outbound email method
Visualforce email teamplates are awesome, but we can't use them in mass emails or from Apex code. Please allow that in a future release!

Make Opportunity Contact Roles RecordType Specific
Record Types are great for tracking different kinds of data in Salesforce. The ability to show different layouts and picklist values allows deep customization. But if you're using Opportunity Contact Roles, for example, you can't filter them by Record Type, so Users are presented with Contact Roles that don't make sense. The workaround is to somehow indicate in the name of the contact role what Record Type they pertain to.
Please let me choose what Record Types each Contact Role is relevant to. Just add a Contact Role section to the existing Record Type edit page where I now filter picklist values.

Show the Report Data Type on the saved Report
After you create a report it can be very difficult to tell what data type was originally used. It would be nice to explicitly call out the data type used on the reports so users can create new reports and know they are looking at the same data as existing reports.

Creation of any object via workflow rule.
I had many requests in crating new objects such as opportunity after period of 1 year, however there is no such option in the workflow rules it would be nice to have. It would be more robust than writing apex code.

Allow Reporting on Full Activity History
Currently, you can't report on Activities that are completed with a date more than a year old. This is a serious problem when trying to build long-term relationships with constituents, and using the data that you've worked hard to make sure is in Salesforce.com. I can't think of a good reason why this limitation is in place.
Please allow us to report on the entire Activity history in our database!

Model a Business Process using Task Templates (Action Plans)
Businesses often have repeatable processes that could be modeled with a series of tasks in Salesforce.com. An example of this might be a process for a new client where the same five tasks need to be executed each time a new client is brought on-board. Users should be able to create templates for this task series. Once the template is created, they should then be able to easily apply the template each time the same process is required in the future. This would eliminate duplicate effort involved with creating the tasks.

Sites: Allow Unauthenticated Users to Edit Standard Objects
We can use Salesforce Sites to create simple interfaces for Contacts to edit their information. However, this is against the current Sites license agreement--unauthenticated Sites users can't modify standard objects.
Check out this video for an example use case showing lightweight email preferences management.

Allow VisualForce Detail Page to be an edit form
I would like to create a VisualForce page to override the Edit page for my objects. I can do this now, but I have to build the form by hand. Please enable the "Detail" component, which renders the correct page layout for the object/profile combo, to be put into edit mode.
This would be incredible, because I could then put a conditions-based redirect after the save action to send my User to the next action. This could be:
* a page for next steps on a recently won Opportunity
* a page outlining research steps for a newly created Account
This is a very powerful platform feature I'd love to see!

Make CampaignMember, Partner, and ContactRole tables Customizable
Let us add custom fields to standard junction objects like CampaignMember and Partner. If I can add some fields to the CampaignMember object, all of the sudden Campaigns could be the heart of an online event registration system. Think about it. Partner could sure use a Start Date and End Date, no?
