Scheduled and Emailed Reports & Dashboards
I want the ability to schedule the refresh of a dashboard or a report.
The report results would be stored (so users can see the refreshed report online immediately).
Also, the Report or Dashboard could be scheduled for delivery by email to specified users or groups.
Dashboard and Reports API
I've had a number of requests from partners for an API for Salesforce dashboards and reports. I'd like to hear your use cases for this and understand it's importance relative to some of the other ideas that have been posted so far.
Click and Create Events
Click on a calendar view and create an event in-line without having to go to a full edit page for an event. This feature will allow end-users to be much more productive in the scheduling process by reducing the number of clicks and screens necessary to schedule an event.
Freeze Column Headers in Reports
Issue: When viewing and scrolling down in a report with multiple rows, the data column header disappears.
Solution: It would be nice to allow some type of functionality that freezes the data column header so when a user scrolls down to the bottom of the report, the column header stays in place and only the data rows move.
In Excel, this is overcome by freezing the columns under Windows>Freeze Panes
Formula limitations - length of formula and compiled size
It will be good to get rid of formula limitations.
1. The length of text that the formula can have is 1300 characters.
Due to this limitation, I had to split my formula in to two or more variables - write the first part of the formula in the 1st variable, write a 2nd variable to refer to the 1st variable and continue with the rest of the formula, etc.
2. Max size of compiled formula is 5000 character.
I think when you refer another formula in your formula, there is a limitation is the size after compilation.
3. when the same formula field is referred more than once in a formula, the compilation happens to translate the formula as many times as it's called.
Example:
Formula1_Field=IF (1<2><3>))
In this case, when Formula2_Field is compiled it translates Formula1_Field twice. In my real case, CASE statement cannot be written when you are checking for multiple expressions.
Product Line Items from Opportunities in Email Templates
We really need to be able to include Product Line Items from Opportunities in Email Templates, just like you can in Mail Merge Templates. Considering that this functionality is already there for Mail Merge Templates, it shouldn't be that hard to duplicate it for Email Templates!!!!
There are many other related list items which we would like to include in Email Templates as well......anyone have similar ideas?
Idea Status - Under Consideration
We should be able to see which ideas are under consideration easily, through some kind of text message or graphic on each idea's listing page. The list of considered ideas is great, but it takes a lot of time to find if the idea you are looking for is in there.
Custom Report Types
Can we create/manage custom report types that mix and match data from a variety of fields and objects? For example, an Account report that auto adds all opportunity amounts, or a report on Campaign Source field within Opportunities.
More than 5 Long Text Fields
It would be nice to be able to add more than 5 long text fields when customizing a page. There should be no limit set because it redueces our ability to customize the page for our business needs.
Modify/Delete Campaign Members
Working with campaign members currently is a bit painful and circuitous. I would like to be able to list all campaign members on a screen and add, modify status or delete without going back and forth. Also, you cannot currently delete a campaign user at all.

VisualForce for List Buttons
I want to create List Buttons in VisualForce not S-Controls. To allow for mass action, I need access to the GETSELECTEDIDS function and I can't seem to do that easily in VisualForce.
