Campaign Inclusion Reports
I want to grab all contacts who are in Campaign A with a certain status, but not in Campaign B and not in Campaign C.
I can't do this right now in standard reporting. Please add this functionality to allow for more sophisticated outreach and messaging.
Dependent page layouts - Dynamically show, hide, or make fields/sections required on a page based on data rules
There are times when it would be ideal to show different fields or sections on a page based on field data. For example, if a field for "software interest" is selected on a lead page, it would be nice if a section and/or fields related to capturing more information on "Software" is displayed. If the field is not selected, then this section and/or fields remain hidden.
Allowing greater customization on the page level based on data rules would make for more manageable and targeted page layouts.
Winter_09_Known_Issues
For any release (for any software) there are known bugs.
I want to be able to go to trust.salesforce.com/Winter_09_Known_Issues (or someplace, it doesn't have to be trust)
and be able to search through known bugs.
I don't want or need access to a complete bug database, etc. I just want to be able to search so that when I come across some bizarre behavior (like the thread below demonstrates) I don't have to beat my head against a wall when somebody else already has the bruises.

Specifically, I'm more concerned with programming bugs in VisualForce, Apex, etc. as opposed to weird application behaviors.
Blank spaces in Page Layout
A number of times I have been requested to line up fields horizontally with each other. This can only be done if there are fields above the desired horizontal line up. I propose that SFDC make blank fields available to be added to page layouts so that the placement of fields is more flexible.
I think the picture explains what I want better than I could in words.
Display the Account name on a Contact lookup search result
When you enter a popular name into Contact lookup field the system will return a list of contacts with the same spelling. The only way to identify the real contact is to perform a separate search and match the right Contact/Account combination.
A much better solution would be to display an Account name within the Lookup result list.
Custom Field Type: Image
Allow user to create custom field data type: IMAGE (i.e. jpg/bmp, etc).
For example: user may attach an image associated with a product. Having a custom field data type: image under the Product object would allow users to do so.
Currently, there is a custom formula image, but this is only to insert a static image that applies to all records.
Multiple Master-Detail relationships
It doesn't seem to be possible to create a chain of master-detail relationships, like this:
House -> Key Set -> Key
Using this example, I can create a master-detail relationship between House and Key Set. But I cannot then create one between Key Set and Key, as the Key Set object doesn't appear on the drop-down menu when I try to add a master-detail field on the Key object.
This means:
- I can't use roll-up summary fields on Key Set
- If I delete a Key Set, the Key objects under it won't be deleted
Please make it possible to chain master-detail relationships.
Build Email Template - Send Yourself a TEST Email
When I build an email template, I have to open a new screen, pick a sample lead and send myself a test mail template to make sure the formatting is correct and it looks ok.
Salesforce should include a button on the template that says, "Send Test Message" just so you can see how the mail will turn out.
Add multiple attachments at once
When attaching files to an email they must be selected one at a time. The process is cumbersome if there are multiple emails to attach to one email. It would be helpful if somehow multiple files could be attached to an email at one time.
Justify report column headers the same as column
When a report column is right-justified (numbers) please also right justify the header.
This may seem like a small thing, but I've had lots of users having trouble reading a report because sometimes it's hard to tell which header goes with which column.
For instance, if you look at the image, it's a little tricky to tell whether Total Value Won opportunities in the first row is $2 or $0.

The ability to use a picklist value in a formula field without ISPICKVAL
Currently, it is not possible to use a picklist in a formula field just by inserting the merge field. Creating a text formula field, one would think that it is possible to display a value of picklist just by inserting the merge field into the formula. However, without using the ISPICKVAL function a picklist cannot be used in a formula field.
Please add the ability to use a picklist in a formula field without using the ISPICKVAL function.
Want to see a Pick a Time button on places where you want to enter a time
Many places in Salesforce that you want to enter a date, thre is a CurrentDate link that you can click to add today's date. Likewise, there is a CurrentTime link that you can click to add the current time. Though on the Date field, there is a Pick a Date button, the Time field does not have a Pick a Time button.
It would be a great timesaver if I could just click the button and select a time instead of having to take my hands off the mouse and type a time.
