Multiple Contacts to be allowed on one activity, be it a task or event! Please!
Our sales reps have meetings where they could literally speak to thirty contacts or have tasks where they could involve 30 contacts. We too, want to track that activity. We want our reps to get credit for all thirty of those talks but we all know our sales people, they don’t want to take 20 to thirty minutes to log the same activity 30 different times. Having the ability to clone activities, tasks and events, and change the contact would be a huge improvement. The best solution would be the ability to add contacts in the same fashion you can add contact roles to an opportunity. This would mean that when running a report for the rep for their activity on the account this activity would show 30 times, once for each contact. The history would also show on the contact record. I cannot tell you how much easier this would make our reps lives!
Allow Task/Activities to be assigned to more than one person.
When creating a task or activity that two or more people need to be reminded about you currently have to create a task for each user, it would be nice if you could place multiple names in the assign to area.
Mark Complete button on Tasks
A Mark Complete button on tasks whenever they appear would save 1) clicking edit, 2) clicking the status drop-down, 3) clicking Complete, 4) clicking Save
I know that you can click the X if you go to your tasks on the home page, but the ability to Mark Complete should be easily accessible any time a task is on the screen.
Events - End Time Auto Populate One Hour after Start Time
The new event feature with the end time is adding additional clicks and keying for our assoicates. They would like the end time to automatically populate and update based on the time they put in for the start time. Right now if you create at 8:45am it populates with 9am start time and 10am end time. However, when reps change the start time to 1pm the end time stays at 10am.

make Public Calendar events first-class citizens
Currently, public calendar events are different from regular events in that:
* You can't create a public calendar event starting from an Opportunity (or any other record) - you have to navigate to the calendar first - even though you want to relate the event to that opp/record.
* Public calendar events related to an opportunity/other record do not show up in that rec's activity related lists.
* It is not possible to move an event from one public calendar to another or from a user to a public calendar.
* There is no way to get a list of public calendars via API.

Put the Original Email Date Stamp in a Reply Email
When you Reply to an email within Salesforce the original date/time stamp is not on the email, very frustrating!

Model a Business Process using Task Templates
Businesses often have repeatable processes that could be modeled with a series of tasks in Salesforce.com. An example of this might be a process for a new client where the same five tasks need to be executed each time a new client is brought on-board. Users should be able to create templates for this task series. Once the template is created, they should then be able to easily apply the template each time the same process is required in the future. This would eliminate duplicate effort involved with creating the tasks.
Activity Type in custom reports
With the release of Summer '07, we're able to create custom report types which is great. However functionality available in some of the standard reports are not available in the custom report type. The one that is impacting us is when creating Activity custom reports. There is a field called Type, that if selected displays numbers rather than the picklist values that are available through the UI. Activity reports built off of the standard report types do not have this limitation. Without the type of activity displayed with the picklist text users are familiar with, custom activity reports can not be used by us.
Allow email alerts for a Task Workflow Rule
When a user assigns a task to someone, s/he can send a notification email. The user who assigns the task should also be able to get an email alert when the assigned task has been completed to follow-up as necessary. Currently, Salesforce only allows a follow up task on a completed task worklow rule and then only to the task owner, not even the account owner.
Link an Email template to a campaign
I'd like to be able to link an email template to a campaign for tracking purposes.
For example, if I have an email template associated with a campaign, then whenever that email template gets used, the person that the email was sent to gets added to the campaign as well as the open/responded status gets updated.
