Surveymonkey AppExchange Integration
It would be great if there was a native AppExchange applicaiton/integration between Surveymonkey.com and Salesforce.com. Please build it Surveymonkey!!!
Package Standard Button Overrides
When you override the functionality of a standard button (e.g. "New", "Edit", "Clone", etc.) in an app, you cannot package this override as part of your app, even for Custom objects. This is really annoying for the end user of the app as it requires numerous additional setup steps, especially if you have lots of overrides as part of your app.
AppExchange standardized packaging of App config/properties
It would be nice if we could provide a (free as in edition limits wise) special custom object per AppExchange app installed for configuration properties of the application.
Giving developers the ability to store Application configuration as custom fields on this object using any or a subset of the available field types.
The record type (a singleton enforced by a trigger) for org wide configuration, the second record type for user specific configuration, so values from this are both available as global merge fields for the developer. And can be easy configured/adjusted by the admin, having an consistent ui/interface to this objects edit view via the setup admin area as well as audit trail of changes made.
Many apps implement the org wide config with a custom object storing key/value pairs and a custom scontrol ui, and then user specific config as custom fields on the user record which is fine, it would just be nice if we acknowledged this need for storing application preferences/properties and provided a more standardized way of achieving this.
Being able to set default values when packaging applications would be a logical enhancement to this functionality as well.
The object names could be easily generate e.g.
config_namespace__appname__c
As well as the global merge fields:
{!$Appname.Property}
Perhaps just making this another benefit of managed packages initally would be the right approach.
Sales Genie / Info USA on the App Exchange
See about getting Sales Genie / Info USA on the App.Exchange.
Could use a more robust database for Prospecting.
Have Object Oriented programming support turned on by default
The ability to use keywords for Object Oriented (OO) programming like abstract, virtual, extends, and protected are turned off by default (presumably for performance reasons.) This makes it very difficult to make properly designed apps with reusable code and post them on AppExchange without having all of your clients call up their salesforce.com rep and have them specifically turn on this functionality (a big barrier to adoption for your app.) These are basic constructs of any OO language and it would be nice to use them in easily deployable apps or have the deployments process automatically turn on these features for clients when they install apps that need them.
SharePoint Server Intergration
Hi
we are a small company using sales force as a main CRM tool, but due to growing expansion we are soon to implement Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (MOSS07), are there any plans to provide a integration application for SF to work with MOSS07. If not this would be a great tool

John
Adding apps using the AppExchange drop-down in the app shouldn't make me re-authenticate
If I try to add a new application from the AppExchange by navigating from my Salesforce instance, via the AppExchange drop-down in the top-right corner (clicking "Add Apps..."), the AppExchange shouldn't prompt me for my username and password again, as I've already logged in to the application.
Merging shipping address data into FedEx and UPS mapped fields
I would like to have a program developed that would automatically merge our shipping address data with websites such as FedEx and UPS. All of the information is available in Salesforce, but has to be manually entered into their website for each package.
Mac Users - Integration with Office
We need a way to integrate salesforce.com into Office for Mac. Maildrop takes care of email integration, but not contact sync, and functions within Office for attaching docs, etc.
Cases in PRM
I would really like to see access to Cases in PRM. One of the major benefits to a Partner would be to have the ability to log cases with Tech Support directly from their PRM. There has got to be more benefits to a Partner than to get their leads and report pipeline - otherwise they will never log on and the PRM is loosing the attraction compared to the cost involved implementing this application.
Thanks

Override Lead Source Dictated by SFGA and Still Have Accurate Reports
Salesforce for Google Analytics routinely changes the lead source of my leads away from the easy to monitor system I use in my picklist. If I change the lead source, my reports become invalid.
I want to be able to control my own lead source values without having SFGA change them. I don't want to create a custom field for Lead Source, I want to use the default value that already maps to contact AND opportunity.
