Schedule custom objects to the Salesforce calendar
It would be wonderful if users had the ability to add custom object records with a date to the salesforce.com calendar. For example, if you use a custom object to manage project assignments, it would be great to be able to use the calendar to manage those assignments. These assignments are NOT tasks.

Workflow email alerts to contacts should be recordable as activity history
The new ability to send email templates to contacts triggered by time-based workflow is a great process automation capability, but we need to see the history of those emails against the contact.
There should be a check box when you create an alert that is, "Track history" so that when a contact calls in to discuss the contact of the email we have a record of what was sent.

No Decimals
I would like to have the option of removing .00 from all entries in Opportunites.
When I'm cloning someone else's contact, make me the new contact owner
It doesn't make much sense that when I go in and clone an existing Salesforce contact, the current contact owner name gets cloned as well. The cloned contact should default to me as the contact owner. Otherwise, I'll have to contact the existing owner and ask them to transfer the contact to me.
There are lots of suggestions to choose which fields should be cloned, and owner is definitely one of them!
Report Filters Should Be Able To Compare Fields To Each Other
Instead of just being able to compare fields to values, there should be a way to compare them to other fields. For instance, if "Amount is great than Annual Amount" (Custom field). As opposed to just "Amount is great than 'some value'"

Smart "Customize" Button on Reports
Create a dropdown that makes it easy to jump to any step in the Report Wizard.

Enforce Forecasting Accuracy
The forecasting functionality should always ensure that a rep's "pipeline" is equal to or greater than the "best case" and that the "best case" is equal to or greater than the "commit". These numbers can get out of line in situations where reps are doing manual overrides.

Dynamic Dashboard Snapshot based on selected Application
The dashboard snapshot displayed on the user's home page should be dynamically changed depending on the selected application. Therefore users/administrators should be able to select one dashboard per application (Sales, Marketing, Service, etc.) to be displayed on the home page rather than only one dashboard for all apps.

Allow Partners to 'Report' and view Dashboard - for their own data
A positive sell on feature for PRM would be to enable Partners to report on their own data by:
- allowing them to create reports OR Run reports themselves which are created thru' SFA
- View output through a Dashboard

Allow Partners to have "Administrator" users who can create and edit their own users
It would be very useful to flag a partner user as some sort of administrator who can then manage the users of the PRM portal for their compnay. For example this would include changing names, phone numbers, etc.
Or alternatively if a user/contact profile could be displayed in the portal then individual users can manage this data themselves, and also opt into news letter's, etc.

Expose Salesforce Content in the partner portal
You should be able to expose Salesforce Content in the partner portal so that partners can have a rich document management experience.
You'll get partner community feedback on your documents through voting and commenting. Also, you can track which documents are downloaded by partners.

Approval Process: For Manually Chosen, Ability to Choose Pool of Approvers
In the Approval Process you have a few choices, use a "Direct Manager" field, or "Manually Choose", or use a queue. Direct Manager can be too restrictive since it's one person. "Mannually Choose" is too loose in that it allows the person to choose ANYONE within the organization. I say at each approval step, you can define who the appropriate approvers can be. Also the ability to choose more than one approver if a step requires say 3 people to approve it.
