Client Management (B2C)
In Winter ’07, Salesforce.com introduces Client Management, an exciting major enhancement to the Salesforce data model. Client Management is based on client accounts which represent the individual consumers with whom you do business. If your company operates on a business-to-consumer (B2C) model, client accounts are a simple yet powerful way to manage the entire life cycle of each customer relationship.
Client accounts are enabled by a new class of account record type. Such record types seamlessly fuse the rich functionality of contacts onto the account – enabling the sending of emails, participation in campaigns, conversion from leads, and much more.
Client Management is available in Unlimited and Enterprise Editions.

Activity Sharing
Winter ’07 introduces an additional security preference on activities that enables the sharing settings of a parent record, such as an account or opportunity, to control the sharing of its related activities. For example, when this organization-level preference is selected, an account team member with read access to an account will have read access to all activities associated with that account regardless of activity owner.

Dynamic Sidebar Search (Coming in Spring '07)
Would love to have more powerful sidebar/advanced search capabilities, especially the ability to query using filters, record types, picklist values, etc.
For example, what if there were a customizable Search page layout, where you could select the type of record you're looking for (Account, Contact, Opportunity, etc), then place the most useful "filter fields" on that Search Layout? Imagine Record Types and Mini Page Layouts for Searches.
This might replace the inelegant trio of search bars currently needed to search Documents, Solutions, and Everything Else with a single Search function.
Or, what about indexing the data (including picklist data) to perform Google searches (like Google Desktop) on your instance of SFDC?

Message of the day
I would like to have an organization-wide message-of-the-day (similar to the maintenance annoucement that salesforce.com uses). This message will be shown after a uses logs in, before they can go to the home page/or any other page.
This feature is already available in SFDC for Salesforce's use - i just want it made available to everyone!
Thanks.

User Audit Trail
Like the current "Setup Audit Trail" (Setup | Administration Setup | Security Controls | View Setup Audit Trail), a "User Audit Trail" would be able to track all the User's activities in SF.com.
This is specially useful for companies that have to grant access to sensitive data and want to keep a tight control over everything viewed, edited, deleted or created by Users, to comply with company policies or government laws. Industries in Healthcare and Financial Services (to name a few) would be very happy to receive this new functionality.
The "User Audit Trail" would keep track whenever a record, report, dashboard, or document is created, deleted, viewed, or edited. It would also record all the searches performed, as this is another way to access data in SF.com.
Administrators should be able to activate/deactivate the "User Audit Trail" for any User at any time, and this action should be captured in the current "Setup Audit Trail". Detailed activities should be available for download via a CSV file at any time.
As this functionality would generate a lot of information, it should be limited to predetermined periods that the Administrator could set (i.e. Keep last 30, 60 or 90 days). The CSV file mentioned above would guarantee that the history is stored in a safe location outside of SF.com.

Export to Mailing Label Format Directly from Report
Right now to create mailing labels from an Account With Contacts report, you have to Export to Excel, fire up Microsoft Word, then follow instructions to create mailing labels, including ODBC links to the Excel spreadsheet.
Why not have a button or a function on Accounts with Contact Reports called "Export to Mailing Labels", and support the 25 most popular Avery mailing label styles? You would of course need to setup a "template" of whether you wanted billing or shipping address and what fields - but this would eliminate hundreds of manual and labor intensive man hours by Sales Administrators and Sales Reps - to create mailing labels manually outside of Salesforce.com

Add Contact Details to Task for Outlook Integration
When I have a task in SFDC and it is synch'ed into Outlook, none of the contact information (such as name, telephone number, etc.) is brought in. This means that I have to put the contact name in each task or I will have several "Follow-up" tasks in Outlook that I don't know what they mean.

Ability to Update Mail Merge Templates
I can update documents in the Documents tab without deleting and re-adding. I would like to be able to do the same with the Mail Merge templates.

Allow Task/Activities to be assigned to more than one person.
When creating a task or activity that two or more people need to be reminded about you currently have to create a task for each user, it would be nice if you could place multiple names in the assign to area.

Propogate Account address change
when changing an address of an Account, the user needs to be prompted to change the associated Contact addresses as well. Could be a simple name list with check boxes next to each name for thsoe that should match the Account.
