Make Salesforce work in Safari for Windows
Salesforce works in just about any browser, but my testing with the recent release of Safari for Windows has shown that the drag and drop page layout editor doesn't work very well with this browser. I haven't tested the whole app, so I don't know if there are any other issues.
Safari on Windows is so fast, that I'd love to use it for all my Salesforce.com configuration tasks. Please fully test this browser and fix any incompatibilities so we can speed up our Setup work!

Share custom fields between all pages ( Accounts, leads, Support Cases etc)
Customer Fields - Ability to share across Sales, Support, and Account tabs
Hi,
We have created some custom fields on the ACCOUNTS page that we would like to display on the CASE page.
At this time there is no way to pull those fields in to the CASE page.
The only workaround is to "DUPLICATE" data fields in multiple areas of Salesforce.
Calendar view for Dates in any Object (such as Job Requests)
I have a lot of consultants that I keep in Salesforce and they are linked to job requests that were submitted on. I would like it if I would be able to have a calendar created based off of their specific project length. This way I have a more visual approach to see where all of my consultants are at all times. Right now we are using a spreadsheet to keep track but obviously is a constant hassle to deal with. Also, if within that calendar you can break down dates for a specific project because some projects aren't always solid for 3 months in a row, there might be a week here and there.

Recycle Bin improvements
The recycle bin needs a major upgrade to become a useful feature. I recommend the following:
1) Be able to click on an item in the recycle bin and view it (not edit) before you undelete it. Currently there is very little information about what you are undeleteing.
2) Allow to create custom views in the recycle bin. The current level of information is too limited. I need more columns and I want some filters. For example on an account I need the billing address because otherwise I have 50 accounts named "XXX" which I deleted. I have no clue which one I want to undelete. This will also allow me to create a view seeing just opportunities or just contacts and not everything pilled up together.
3) Do not roll up items in the recycle bin. Each item deleted should have its own seperate entry. Example: when you delete an account that has opportunities, then both the account and opportuntities are deleted. However in the recycle bin you will only see the account entry. There is no record that opportunties were deleted as well - they just vanish. When you restore the account the opportunties come back, but there is no way currently to see that infact they were deleted.
Glitch in your system
I have entered in all of my leads, once I have contacted a lead and gotten information needed to pursue that lead I then (common sense) want to move it to opportunities so that I know this lead has been contacted. In your system once I convert a lead to an opportunity your system also puts it in Accounts...which defeats the whole purpose!!! Its not an account YET it has not been closed, its ONLY an opportunity!!! Why does it automatically put it in Accounts? What a frustration, there is no way to keep my leads organized! Also, it is very annoying that once it is in opportunities you can no longer add information, what if the contact person changes? What if they move and the address changes ETC.....????? You should be able to edit opportunities!!!!!!!! It would also be very convenient to the user if a user moved a lead to opportunity and the opportunity after a while was stagnant, for example.. you talk to the decision maker, they sound interested but then they never call you back, you should then be able to move it back to a LEAD. In your system you can't do that either. These are common sense issues for all sales people and these issues should be updated in your system!!! PLEASE!!!!! Otherwise we will have to look for other options, we just really need to be able to keep our leads organized or it defeats the whole purpose!
Thank You!

Allow approval fields to be used in email templates outside approval process
We have situations where either the owner of a record or the current approver need to send updates on the status of that record in the approval process. Unfortunately, the use of approval fields in an email template is currently restricted to those emails automatically generated by the approval process. We would like to have all approval fields available to any email sent from a record which has been submitted for approval up to and including when it receives final approval.
Approval Workflow Comments
When an approval workflow is approved/rejected, and the APPROVER, enters comments, currently, there is no option to add the APPROVERS' comments to an email alert. There is no available merge field for this. The comments merge field in only available on the approval request.
It is extremely important that any comments added by an approver be added to those email. Please add this merge field.
Thanks.

"Sent to salesforce" tag on Outlook
Developers:
Lots of salespeople are updating from Outlook to Salesforce daily. I often upload the same message twice because outlook is not tagged by this activity. Can you add a function within the outlook integration that shows an email has been updated to salesforce? I'm looking for something like the 'Replied' logo (that little arrow) that notifies a user has updated a certain email to salesforce.
Thank you in advance....

Console Headings
The column headings on the console page should remain in view when scrolling down. Lock the column headings for the console page.
Allow Web-to-Case to support Case Attachments
I would like the ability to generate or write into the HTML code the ability to attach files to cases before they are submitted through the online form.

Inking native in Salesforce.com
Our standard device is a tablet pc. We would like to have "inking" available in SFDC. Imagine calling on a customer and be able to take hand wrtitten notes right in the application. Currently it has to be added as an attachment and several steps to accomplish.
Workflow Email Alerts to Owner Role
When sending out a workflow email alert, I would like the ability to select not just the Record Owner as a recipient but also the Owner Role.
I have created a workflow to notify opportunity owners when a opportunity is 30 days overdue. I would like to include the Sales Manager (owner role) in this email but the only way to do this is to create a workflow for every sales manager or to include the Sales Manager as part of the Account team for every account record. These options may be fine for smaller organizations but this becomes a maintenance nightmare for bigger organizations with a larger number of sales teams.
Instead of maintaining multiple workflows or trying to keep the account team members correct for a couple of hundred constantly changing account managers, I should be able to select Record Owner and Record Owner Role as recipients for one workflow and forget about it.
Thanks.
