A cross between Partner functionality and Activity History - Salesforce.com should have the ability to create one-to-one relationships between records and have them aggregated in one related list. A contact has multiple relationships and roles with other contacts (friendship/colleague) , accounts (allumni/past employer), projects (committees/volunteering) and events (organizer/consultant). There should be the capability for an organization to add those relationships and roles in one function and list them in a single table for social network and leadership reporting. Additionally, we need the ability to do some discovery as well. i.e. If John is on the Board of X and Sally works for X, being able to track that connection would be invaluable.
