I (still) wonder why the Asset object does not support Record Types. It would be uttermost beneficial for us if it did.

TomaszOczapowski 08/22/07	Must have for any IT organisations wanting to deploy Salesforce Service and Support to run their core ITIL processes. With the record types it will be possible to build a different record types for different Configuration Items (CI).
PerGeert 09/07/07	I ended up creating a custom object solving the problem. Works great (but didn't do it when we did our initial design).
