Send Email to Previous Approver in WorkFlow
Short Answer: Link Approval Object!
Currently An Email Alert can not be sent to the previous approver, and email templates aren't there to send to the next approver either.
Cases where this is important is when you reject a submission and the rules call for Final Rejection. You would like to send a CC to the recent approver so they can view.
An example of sending an email to the NEXT approver is when you create a time-based alert. At present it's best to send to record owner, but it would be nice to send an email to the next approver as a reminder as well.
