Salesforce for Google AdWords - Add support for multiple AdWords accounts
As a user of both Salesforce Marketing and Google Adwords, I'd really like to see Salesforce for Google AdWords supporting multiple AdWords accounts per salesforce org. Our company uses several discreet AdWords accounts globally, but only one Salesforce org and we're therefore only able to use SFGA on one AdWords account. The benefits of this product are amazing, so I'd really welcome the support of multiple AdWords accounts so that all our regions can use the product to increase our ROI from paid search.

We have received multiple requests for this feature. Based on current functionality offered by Google and the Google AdWords API, possible implementations could be: -----OPTION A----- Link salesforce to a Google AdWords MCC (a parent AdWords account containing multiple child accounts). Salesforce would then link once to the parent MCC and expect that it should manage every child within this MCC. pros: Link once and get tracking across multiple AdWords accounts cons: In this scenario it's all or none. Salesforce would attach its tracking codes onto all of the creatives/keywords in *all of the child accounts. So if you want to link Salesforce to only 2 of the 3 AdWords accounts in your MCC, no dice (see option B below) -----OPTION B----- Allow the user to simply enter multiple AdWords CIDs into the Salesforce interface and go through the linking process with each one. pros: A user could selectively link/unlink specific AdWords accounts. cons: Users would likely need to go through the AdWords account linking workflow one account at a time. -----OTHER IDEAS?----- Which option do you prefer? Do you have other ideas? |

Personally I would prefer option B, as it fits best with my organization's current Adwords setup. The additional work to link the accounts to SFDC is not much of a hindrance for me. |

I agree with badams - Option B for me. I also don't like the cons in Option A, and can live with manutally setting things up one time under Option B. Thanks ! |

Option B sounds manageable for us as well. We have 6 Google AdWords accounts under a single MCC, so any solution is better than none. |

I own an SEO (Search Engine Optimization)company, SiteSolutions.Com. One of our offerings is to setup and manage a client's Google AdWords account or to manage an existing account. We have thousands of clients and are looking for a better way to retrieve and display their Google specific data. I would very much like to see the ability of having an Adwords link for any one of our clients within SalesForce. Meaning, if I have 50 Google AdWord clients in my SalesForce database, I would like to have 50 totally separate links to Google Adwords where each of the 50 accounts retrieve their own specific Google Adwords data. I would then like to allow our client to log into SalesForce and see their own specific Google data displayed through SalesForce's online interface. Let me know if you have any questions. We could really utilize this tool if you'll set it up. Thanks... Steve Lochmiller, SiteSolutions.Com |

Yes I agree with option B as well. We have just released our first product and plan more in the future. It would be ideal to be as flexible as possible with our options- that is much more important to us than the setup of multiple accounts. |
