Ability to define WorkFlow on Secondary Objects
We need to be able to define workflow rules against secondary objects, such as Case Comments, Notes, Attachments etc.
This is critical to being able to deliver a complete Case/Opportunity/Account management process.

We need this functionality badly in our org. An example would be watching Attachments on Opportunities. We need to be able to notify our Engineering team once a completed RFQ is attached to an opportunity. Also we need to be able to change the status of a Case when a new SelfService comment is added, or an Attachment is added via SelfService. |

We need workflow on secondary objects - specifically attachments - and to have an action to either delete the attachment or better yet move attachments from Salesforce to our file system. |

Yes, but without stating the obvious, that's specific to Case Comments - it really should be broadened to include all Secondary objects. And, in a perfect world, should also include the ability to fire Apex triggers. |

Amen. We could see this functionality in so many areas For example: We would like to update the account owners field to the individual who Won an opportunity. We end up having to build S-controls to accomplish these minor changes. ALSO - Give us OWNER ROLE & OWNER PROFILE fields - PA'LEASE |
