I disagree with the idea that this is in opposition to "No Software" - the toolbar could be written to automatically check for new updates and install them with a single click, so it wouldn't burden IT, and it's still part of a browser... in what way would this great idea be against the spirit, if not the letter, of the "No Software" movement? |

With the recent google partnership, a salesforce branded google toolbar might be a place to start. |

;) No Software concept = ? - Outlook addons, Office Addons... They need IT support as any other software that is installed to PC - add sf.com toolbars and widgets and gadgets to this and youll have more complex software support task than what you had with one crm.exe in your desktop ;) |

No Software rule doesn't apply because you download other products from the Appexchange as well. The AppBar is great!!! Keep promoting it! =) |
