Salesforce.com makes it easy to create reports and export them to an offline spreadsheet editor such as Microsoft Excel. Nevertheless, user workflow would be significantly improved if reports could be directly edited from Salesforce.com. Integration with an online spreadsheet editor such as ThinkFree Calc would make such a scenario possible.

This is a great idea. I think people might want to have their choice of spreadsheet tools... so maybe having the ability to configure some custom buttons on reports to "Edit as a Spreadsheet" would be good? If you'd like to see a nice spreadsheet integration that is already on AppExchange, have a look at: EditGrid Spreadsheets |

Why don't you just create an AppExchange integration for Google Apps Premier? It offers an API for all of their "office" apps, as well as Gmail. This would be ideal for small businesses that don't want to have their own IT infrastructure, and would add weight to your "No Software!" battle http://www.google.com/a/enterprise/ |
