Customize "Add Products" wizard on Opportunities
It would be great if the "Add Products" wizard on new Opportunities could be customized in several different ways.
First, it would be great if we could modify some of the parameters of the "Add Products" page such as the default list criteria and number of products displayed per page. Some sales people want to see a lot more products at once, and also want to have different default sorting and filtering criteria tied to their profiles and/or roles.
It would also be great if we could condense the "Add Products" wizard from 2 pages down to one. When some sales people select the products, they also want to be able to enter the quantities for those products on the same page. Perhaps there could be an option for administrators to choose between 2 steps or 1 step for adding Opportunity Line Items.
The entire wizard could probably be made more interactive and more "Web 2.0ish" Having more administrative control over the page layouts would enable administrators to make the workflow much more efficient for their SFA users.
