Layout abilities / HTML in Solution text

It would be helpful to layout the text of Solutions, so that it is better to understand for customers. For instance by having the ability to make a HTML versions of Solutions

TimAlsop 11/06/06	We are not using the solutions capability on salesforce because it is not worth the effort to change our exisitng knowledgebase content which is formatted using a WIKI into simple text content so that it can be installed into salesforce solutions. We would prefer a WIKI type of editor so that images, and font formatting can be added to solution content. When a cusotmer accesses the solution via our website, or via self-service portal they will get detailed and easy to read help related to our products, rather than simple, hard to read text. At the moment we have some content in pdf docs, and some on other websites, but with salesforce we would very much like to be able to use the solutions part of salesforce.com customer service and support.
AmyJo 11/15/06	I agree. We spend a lot of time developing solutions. Visual presentation is important. Salesforce already has an HTML editor incorporated. Just let us use it.
CathyB 11/17/06	This should be done to compete with other solution software even in house software. It is nice to display a solution in a format with easy to read bullet points and tables otherwise people will be reluctant to use them.

PeterStevens 12/15/06	I agree 100% - we have been asking for HTML support for over 2 years and every time get told that "its in the pipeline". It is essential to support HTML fomatting and the ability to include images.
netdrafter 03/13/07	I too have to maintain a seperate, external kb. Adding HTML capability to solution posts is my #1 request. Hoping this is implemented.
PeterStevens 03/29/07	I have just chased my case for this, as its been open for 2 years. The release notes for Spring 07 say that it is included as part of this release -however this is the reply that I just got back from Support when asking what the status is:- "Unfortunately, there is no established date as to when this feature request will be active. All I can suggest is to push for this to be done by going to ideas.salesforce.com & add it as a feature request. You are not alone in your wish for it to be enabled, but the more that suggest this idea will help in it being implemented. Also check back with us periodically. By then we might have answer to when it will be active."
SrBlanco 04/09/07	You guys are killin me with the delay!! Please hurry up and roll out this feature so I can migrate our KB to SFDC Solutions.
SpringCMDocMgmt 04/16/07	Please please please! Soon! You mentioned early 2007, does that mean it's coming up? Please set expectations if you can, as a rather large custom integration project hinges on your answer. Obviously it is a rare company that can use your solutions as is if they want to apply to their customer base. Thank you.

Jesterale 04/24/07	Another voice to the chorus. Don't delay this! My clients that are using the support module are embarrassed at the unprofessional presentation they are forced to use when making solutions public. CGillingham 05/04/07	Is there any time frame on this yet? I've been waiting for months and it's getting to the point where I'll have no other option but create an external knowledge base. Please provide us with a range (weeks, months, etc) if nothing else.
