Ability to Update Mail Merge Templates

I can update documents in the Documents tab without deleting and re-adding. I would like to be able to do the same with the Mail Merge templates.

emergogroup 01/30/07	Yes - me too! Our proposals are mail-merged out of SF and everytime we maka a change I have to re-do the process. Would LOVE this feature!
ReadSpeaker 03/14/07	I do not even understand that one has to vote for such a feature. Is it not common sense?

AMartin 10/26/07	We have set up a lot of merge templates that can be merged with the Contracts object. Everytime these documents change, I can't just update them in sfdc as I would a file in the Documents tab. I have to delete the existing merge template and add back new templates. This seems extremely inefficient especially considering the ability to update existing files already exists. Thanks. Aiden
WrogWrog Sep 21	This should be fixed, simply on the ground of being different (and therefore confusing) operation to equivalent functionality elsewhere. Can't believe that we're still asking for this.

ltd Nov 18	I'm not sure why this has to be a pay-per-user feature, when documents is a standard feature, and so is mail merge?
