I can update documents in the Documents tab without deleting and re-adding. I would like to be able to do the same with the Mail Merge templates.

Yes - me too! Our proposals are mail-merged out of SF and everytime we maka a change I have to re-do the process. Would LOVE this feature! |

I do not even understand that one has to vote for such a feature. Is it not common sense? |

We have set up a lot of merge templates that can be merged with the Contracts object. Everytime these documents change, I can't just update them in sfdc as I would a file in the Documents tab. I have to delete the existing merge template and add back new templates. This seems extremely inefficient especially considering the ability to update existing files already exists. Thanks. Aiden |

This should be fixed, simply on the ground of being different (and therefore confusing) operation to equivalent functionality elsewhere. Can't believe that we're still asking for this. |

I'm not sure why this has to be a pay-per-user feature, when documents is a standard feature, and so is mail merge? |
