It would be great if there was an organisation wide setting where you could change the number of records visible in related lists.

I think this would be extremely helpful and also to have the ability to filter on items created by you if needed, so you can filter out marketing emails, etc. if necessary. I like the advanced filters on look-ups, maybe something like that would work.
