My org relies heavily on Long Text fields for ongoing prospect/client notation. My users need to be able to sort their lists by those records that already have data in these fields.
It is not important that this solution alphabetize the records according to what data has been entered; they just need to be able to get to the records with notes first. This is more like a "grouping" solution.
The ability to use Long Text fields in formulas, even in a reduced capacity, would be an enormous help.

For some reason this functionality has now been restored to my organization. We need it, but its odd how it seems to come and go. |
