Opportunity Splitting & Customizable Forecasting

With Opportunity Splitting it's possible to split credit for one opportunity across multiple people and report on this information. My organization depends on Customizable Forecasting, however, and I would really like the ability to view my forecast with respect to splits, in addition to the reporting capabilities I have today.

rbuchanan 12/05/08	I agree. The splitting feature is basically useless to our company since the split amounts do not roll up into the forecasts of the salespeople involved on the splits. Each person on the split has his/her own quota, but the way it works now is the full amount of the order rolls up to the opp owner's forecast, regardless of the split amount that owner is actually getting. Please make the split amounts roll up to the forecasts! The workaround we have to do is time-consuming to say the least.
happygirl 2 days ago	Yes, I agree 100% it does have to impact forecasting to make this useful. Is there any workarounds or best practices Salesforce could offer here. PLEASE.
