Allow Reporting Across ALL User Fields in Owned Objects

It would be great if we could run reports across objects(say for example, Cases, Opportunities, Accounts, ect) - and be able to set Owner fields as criteria.

For example - I can set a start date at the user level and then run reports for all new Sales Reps' opportunities based on their hire date. This would be a great retention and training tool for us.

Also - it allows us to dynamically flag users instead of using their names as criteria for reports.

Tom_Tobin Jul 22	You can get to all user fields to report on. If you create a Custom Report Type, you can pull in any user fields from those objects, and use them to report or filter on.

shahinatcars Jul 23	Maybe I didn't make it clear in my idea. You cannot take fields from the user level and relate it back to a Case or Account Owner within a Case Report.
Tom_Tobin Jul 23	You mean the case owner or the account owner? Or you want to compare fields in the user vs something in the owner?
shahinatcars Jul 24	I want to compare fields at the user level vs the object by relation of owner. That is to say the owner is a user, and I want to reference their user fields while reporting on the object that they own.
shahinatcars Jul 25	Ah ha. I figured this one out. I didn't realize you could pull in fields in custom report types via lookup. Excellent - thanks for the suggestions guys.
