Attachments for Web to Lead

Many of the custom solutions that our customers request require supporting documentation such as a deployment file. We are looking to enable a web-to-lead solution to replace email requests, however currently the function does not support attachments. This would be nice to have.

TimAlsop 06/02/08	Don't you mean "Web to Case" ? Web to Lead is for lead generation, and would be bad if attachments were allowed for this kind of initial contact with your company. For Web to Case, the case created can have attachments and customer can add these when they logon to self-service portal to manage the cases submitted. Have you considered using portal ?
bogi 07/07/08	I have a translation agency and most “leads” we receive are in the form of an e-mail with attached document that we are asked to give a quote on the translation of. It would be useful for us if we could use Web to lead for this (instead of the e-mails today) but then we need to be able to get the attachments with the lead from the web.
