Being able to trigger workflow on Ideas is a welcome addition in the Summer '08 release. What would make it even more useful would be the ability to include fields from the Ideas object(s) into templates as merge fields. Most of our workflow templates include a link to the detail record and a couple of the key fields from the record that triggered the workflow.
