We have spent a lot of time customizing the Dashboards page and would like it to be the first page displayed after logging in.

You should be able to do this with visual force... just override the home page button to display the dashboard screen you want. |

If you look at a reset password e-mail you will see another way to do this. You have a link below that will auto log you in: https://www.salesforce.com/login.jsp?un=user%40company.com&pw=* Now this link above will take you to the Case Home page instead of the Dashboard. You just need to change the /500/o to the Dashboard you want. Lets say your dashboard you always want to go to is: https://na1.salesforce.com/. Your link would look like this: https://www.salesforce.com/login.jsp?un=user%40company.com&pw=* You now have a link that you can use to always log in. If you create a bookmark within your browser you just need to click on the bookmark to auto login every time. ****NOTE**** This is not suggested by SFDC and it is not secure. Anyone that gets access to your PC can click on the link and login as you so use at your own risk. I am not responsible for anything that happens if you use my suggestion. |

sorry the links were cut short. The na1.salesforce.com should have 01Z6000000097aW at the end. Also after the * for the next link should have /01Z6000000097aW |

In Summer '08, check out the Default Landing Tab functionality in in Setup | Create | Apps. You can now select a default tab for standard and custom apps. |
